About the emotional music video for "Tough", Kellie said, "There was so much healing in shooting this one". Tough was penned for Kellie by acclaimed songwriter Leslie Satcher. Regarding Kellie's performance, Music Row magazine's Bob Oermann says, "This rumbling, romping rhythm number has a lyric with real moxie and she delivers it with just the right amount of sass."
